Well the painting is complete.  "NEW START" acrylic and copper leaf on canvas, 30" x 40".  I am pleased with how this one came out.  Some times the most difficult part of a painting is starting it.  Trying to figure out just how I am going to put what I see onto the canvas.  However once I start, it just seems to take a life of it's own.  In this painting I wanted to portray a new begining like spring.  I decided to use different values of green, this enabled the red & blue to stand out.  I used red because I wanted to incorporate copper leaf, so I decided to use the red that is in the copper.

Many times in life we sit back and reasses our life, where we are, where we've been and what course of action we intend to take to get to the next chapter of our lifes.  This is the point where I am and I somehow wanted to capture that in this painting.  All my works start with a vision and a feeling.  I think I did capture what my vision was.

I will leave with this one sentece that has a lot of meaning.  "EVERYONE DESERVES TO HAVE ART IN THEIR LIFE."
