JOSE FERNANDO LONDONO

Return to Art Blog

Join me on Friday February 5, 2016 from 7pm - 9pm; at the

Northport Public Library as I introduce "The Renacer Collection."  This particular collection is very near to my heart.  It is a collection about my life struggles. How a tough part in my lifetime ultimately lead to something beautiful; my paintings.  I will answer all questions about my art and what inspired me.  Art is very much a part of our daily lives, from the time we wake up in the morning to the time we go to bed at night; ART surrounds us.  As an artist I feel very fortunate in being able to give a representation of what art means to me.  How my moods and stresses of life affects my art work.  Usually the effect is a rather positive one; some of my best paintings have come out of some dark moments in my lifetime.

Art is a form of expression, that is very individual to each person that makes art and the person viewing each piece.  Art can be relaxing and very much a mood changer, it can be almost intoxicating.
